Donor Celebration 2025

On Saturday 21st June 2025, we welcomed a group of our donors from across the past year to join us for a celebration event in the Old Library.

We were delighted to be able to thank so many members of our School community in person for the contributions they have made in 2024/5.

Over drinks, guests were welcomed by James Jones, Head, who spoke movingly about the impact that philanthropic giving continues to have on the School. They heard first-hand testimonials from Julia, who has been a recipient of bursary support through her time at Sidcot, and a parent whose family has been supported by our Hope and Imagination Fund. We welcomed the newest members of our 1699 (Legacy) Society.

Before touring the School, guests also heard about additional projects within School, including the Travel Awards, which encourage career-enhancing work to make positive change, supported by the Sidcot School Education Trust (please find out more on their valuable work here). Our thanks to Trustees Judy Reeves (pictured) and Sally Harvey who spoke to give more information about the work of the Trust. James Jones also spoke about our award-winning community partnership programme with local state schools

Following the School tour, guests were able to enjoy a cream tea by the wonderful School catering department, while mingling and exchanging memories of School.

Our Donor Report outlining our fundraising and outreach programmes across 2024/2025 was also distributed. An electronic copy can be read on this link: Donor Report 2025, and is also available in hard copy format on request to development@sidcot.org.uk

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to the event, and of course to those generous philanthropic supporters of either of our Sidcot Trusts, or directly to the School, whose gifts make such a difference to our students' and parents' experiences.
