The Sidcotian Magazine - A review of the academic year 2022/23

Welcome to the 2022/23 edition of The Sidcotian magazine. Sharing a year of life at Sidcot School and incorporating the Autumn / Winter edition of Sidcotians Connect

The publication celebrates the ethos and essence of our School. This year The Good Schools Guide praised our students for being “open, curious, inspired by their education and calmly confident in their ability to make a difference.” We cannot think of better commendation, nor a more apt description of the Sidcotians we aim to produce: well-rounded individuals equipped to lead interesting, purposeful and adventurous lives. Sidcot really is a place of curiosity and endeavour, and this has been greatly evidenced this year with just a snapshot of our students lives captured in this magazine. Divided into six sections, The Sidcotian reflects the values we aim to instil in our students: Being Curious, Making a Difference, Love Learning, Surprising Yourself, Being Yourself, and Living Life to the Full. In arranging the magazine in this way, we seek to show how our community is bringing these values to life, both individually and collectively. We hope that you will enjoy reading this copy of The Sidcotian, and that it gives you a picture of life in the Sidcot community, both in School and beyond.

Within the publication from page 56 - 69 you will also find the Autumn/Winter edition of Sidcotians Connect. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this issue.
