June Tregelles (née Bickford), S: 1942-1949

It is with great sadness that we mark the one-year anniversary of the passing of June Tregelles (née Bickford) on 4 December 2022.

June was born in Penzance in May 1932 and will be remembered by her contemporaries at Sidcot for her sporting abilities (she was in both the hockey and tennis teams) as well as her presence on the school choir. She married her husband – Hugh Gower Tregelles, a farmer – in Plymouth in April 1959. Hugh remains living in Langford Budville near Wellington, at June’s final home.

June was Mother to Old Scholars Jacqueline (S: 1971-76) and Dawn (S: 1973-78) and worked during her life as a bank clerk, with a keen interest in amateur dramatics, choir, and arts and crafts.

Should you wish you share any thoughts or wishes with the family, please email alumni@sidcot.org.uk and we would be happy to pass them on for you.
