On Saturday 6 May, Mrs Leite and Mrs Smilevich hosted a Coronation tea for the boarding community. Due to the wet weather, it was unable to take place outside as a traditional street party, so a group of boarders were given the task to decorate the Old Library in true Coronation style as part of their Sidcot Saturday activities.
With the Coronation live on the large screen, it provided an opportunity for lively debate around the Royal Family, and it was very insightful to get the opinions of our International students. One thing we could all agree on when 50 of us sat down to tea in the afternoon was how lovely the food was, provided by our wonderful catering team. Mr Milne certainly enjoyed the scones and clotted cream! It was a fun afternoon creating Coronation memories for our boarders.
