CREATING ARCADIA:

Art, Ethics & Business in the 21st century

Exhibition open to Sidcot Community: Wed 3rd and Fri 5th May, 4-6pm

General Admission Exhibition with inspirational talk and Q&A from co-founder Pip Rush: Thurs 4th May, 4-6pm

Venue: Sidcot School Arts Centre (with Thursday’s talk to be held in the Drama Studio)

We are delighted to invite you to a special Exhibition, showcasing the work of Arcadia.

Arcadia creates extraordinary collective experiences through radical, progressive mediums.

Founded by creative engineers Bert Cole and Pip Rush, the company is inspired by nature, game-changing technology and the magic of thousands uniting in celebration.

Incubated at the Glastonbury Festival, Arcadia repurposes military equipment into giant sculpted stages that have featured at cultural celebrations and iconic events around the globe.

Bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds, from the world's biggest DJs to its oldest indigenous communities, Arcadia is out to make a difference – while having fun in the process.

The Exhibition, which runs from Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th May 2023, from 4 – 6pm daily, includes a specially-curated selection of photographs and sculpture samples of Arcadia’s work and impact around the world.

FREE GENERAL ADMISSION TALK & Q&A: Hear from Co-founder and Artistic Director, Pip Rush, Thurs 4th May, 4-6pm

As a bursary student at Sidcot, Pip was deeply marked by the School’s Quaker spirit, determined to see business as a means to create positive change. Those early years remain key to Pip’s outlook, channelling the magic of collaboration and the thrill of recycling into meaningful human experiences.

We are delighted to be able to open the doors of our Sidcot Arts Centre to friends of Arcadia and the Sidcot Community to hear directly from Pip on his journey with Arcadia, the importance of ethics in art business, and making a difference through art. This session will include a Q&A with Pip and will take place on Thursday 4th May.

This is free event, but we ask that you reserve your ticket for either of the three days of the Exhibition at www.bit.ly/SIDCOTARCADIA. Please use the drop down menu to select your preferred date option.

We look forward to welcoming you!
