(Gilpin); S. 1943 - 49 Prefect, Nansen House Captain, 1st XI hockey team, Southall Diving Shield, Life-Saving Bronze Cross and Silver Medal, Girl Guides (Patrol Leader); m. Cyril W. A. Brett (technical officer Wellcome Research) at Bromley, 4th February 1962. ch. Jeremy born in 1962 and Erica born in 1965; 1953 B.Sc. (Reading); 1949 - 50 Glaxo Laboratories; 1954 - 62 Wellcome Reserach Laboratories; 1970 - 1986 part-time science school teacher; W.R.L. tennis team and secretary; treasurer, Hartley W.I.; tortoise breeding and birdwatching.
