Congratulations to Sidcotian Dr Ian Conacher (S.1963-1965) who has written his third book, 'The Opposable thumb,' following the medical doctors who accompanied the great explorer, David Livingstone

Dr Conacher was a Consultant Anaesthetist for nearly 30 years with the National Health Service. His primary education was in the Mandated Territory of Tanganyika; his secondary completed at Sidcot. He graduated in Medicine at St Andrews University in 1971, and has a Doctorate from the University of Dundee. See the attached article for more details on the book and how to source a copy.
