Transforming Sidcot's Sixth Form Centre

Our Sixth Form building is in the heart of our School site, and is home to over 130 students. Built in the 1960s, it no longer meets the needs of Sixth Formers today. We urgently need a facility that aligns with our vision to provide a first rate, inspiring education for our students. We are looking to our community to help raise funds to create the very best learning environment for current and future generations of Sidcotians.

Our students and teachers have been instrumental in the design for our new Centre, sharing thoughts and wishes for the function and decor. The new Centre will include larger social common areas for greater integration between Lower and Upper Sixth, as well as improved acoustics and spaces for quiet study. Intellectual courage and curiosity will be encouraged as they prepare for life after School.

In line with our Quaker values of sustainability, environmental considerations for building purposes have been used wherever practically possible, and solar PVs will be installed to produce electricity for use and to feed back to the grid.

We are excited to be able to share our campaign brochure with key information outlining the plans and targets for the capital campaign, timeline and design for the new Centre.
